FC Barcelona is proud to announce the opening of Barca Academy Nashville with tryouts in May and June 2019!!!
Barca Academy Nashville is the official program of the club and will be implementing the very same methodology used by the club’s first team as developed in La Masia over the past several decades. The FCB methodology has produced players such as Lionel Messi, Xavi, Andres Iniesta, Gerard Pique, and many, many others.
Mission Statement: The Barca Academy Nashville mission is to help families raise great children. The Academy does this by transmitting positive values through soccer and builds a community of like-minded families around this process.
Official 2019-2020 Program Highlights Include:
– The Academy trains and competes 4 days per week from Mid-August until Mid-June.
– Dedicated, professional GK development program
– Right-sized team rosters ensure all players play and develop in-game
– Age appropriate, low coach to player training ratios
– Academy teams will compete in local, state, regional, national, and international tournaments and leagues after an intensive period of true development
– Academy teams and players will have the opportunity to travel to Barcelona to train at Camp Nou and play in international friendlies and tournaments
– All players receive formal, written bi-annual development reports
– World-Class coaching staff with full-time senior staff directly from Spain
– No club politics
– Positive learning environment for all
